Having visited Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare, we couldn’t leave without having a go at the Shakespeare’s Script room by Escape Live.
Firstly, the story, theming and immersion is very good. The room is set in Shakespearian England with appropriate decor and props. Tasked with finding the 4 pieces of the missing script, you have to solve clues, riddles and codes before putting together the pieces you have found. Many of the clues are very logical and inexperienced players could tackle them without too much of a problem. We did get caught out by a couple of hidden compartments which we were kicking ourselves about afterwards.
We did face a couple of issues when playing this room but the owner has since been fantastic and their customer service very good.
Overall, a great room when carried out properly with brilliant puzzles and theming.
